【A Brief History of Construction】
In marking Taiwan into a Buddha’s holy land, Forshang Buddhism World Center and Forshang World Foundation began and completed the construction of Yuan-Dao Guan-Yin Temple in Dan-Shuei between 1997 to 2000. Numerous beings with causation have ever since been delivered and great admiration has been sent by monks and nuns, devotees, coming to visit from countries all over the world, including Japan, Korea, China, Tibet, Nepal, USA, Europe, etc.
Yuan-Dao Guan-Yin Temple is a Tang style building of four-story height with a one-story basement. Designed mainly in wood, the temple displays the natural taste of ancient simplicity in the valley. The main building of the Yuan-Dao Guan-Yin Temple is built with SRC structure (the reinforced concrete). In addition to a 178 meter Cantilever retaining wall, a solid foundation for a building of 20 stories or higher is applied to assure the temple’s resistance to big quakes and natural catastrophes.
The space around the Yuan-Dao Guan-Yin Temple is set away as an outdoor relaxation area designed with the sleeping Buddha statue, the 33 Guan-Yin stone statues, the monastery, the forest air sidewalk, the Japanese garden, etc. – the landscapes that bring comfort and harmony to people’s body and mind.


【The 1st Floor Worship Hall】

◎ The Widespread Light of Buddha
In the worship hall of the 1st floor, Da Zi Zai Wan Fo is worshiped, along with the 4 chief Bodhisattvas: Kuan-Yin, Wen-Shu, Dee-Tsang, and Pu-Hsien, as well as the 2 great guardian Bodhisattvas: Wei-To and Chieh-Lan, fully possessing the inconceivable empowerment for assistance in wealth, offspring, good fortune, career, or fame. On the right side of the hall, Yuan-Dao Bodhisattva, the 2nd Patriarch of Forshang Buddhism is worshiped.
All the Buddha’s statues are made of pure copper. Da Zi Wan Fo is 429 centimeters in height and 3600 kilograms in weight. The 4 chief Bodhisattvas, each measures 348 centimeters and weights 1200 kilograms. As for the 2 great guardian Bodhisattvas, each one is 154 centimeters in height and 280 kilograms in weight.

◎ The sublimity of the lot
The lot of Yuan-Dao Guan-Yin Temple is miraculously accurate, for which people from all over Taiwan and world have been attracted. The Yuan-Dao Guan-Yin Temple provides the lot interpretation service to give advice to visitor’s queries. In addition, Master Sun-Don Lee of the Forshang Buddhism has specially conducted a “Da Zi Zai Perfect Attainment of Bochi Doctrine” to promptly clear up karma and to bring blessing to all lot drawers for a smoother development and a perfect and auspicious outcome for things ne wishes for.

◎ All Perfect Incense
The unique “All Perfect Incense” of the Yuan-Dao Guan-Yin Temple has the incense for worshiping Buddha, love, health, peace, help, parent, children, honor, wealthy and career. Every bundle is empowered by Master Sun-Don Lee of the Forshang Buddhism, possessing the inconceivable energy and effect. Depending on the type of incense, the visitors may offer the incense to the Dragon-Riding Guan-Yin, The Thousand-Hand Thousand-Eye Guan-Yin Bodhisattva, Wen-Shu Bodhisattva, Dee-Tsang Bodhisattva, or Pu-Hsien Bodhisattva respectively for their wishes to be fulfilled.

◎ “The Nine Palaces Square of the Eight Diagrams in the Book of Changes”
the Karma-dispersing area
Displayed on the left side of the worship hall. It is an amazing area that is created by Master Sun-Don Lee of the Forshang Buddhism based on the universal principles of energy changes applied in the eight diagrams of the Book of Change, allowing an individual to personally experience the energy. It develops various energies appropriate to each individual’s different accordance and causation so that the person practicing this doctrine will obtain the instant purification of body and mind.

◎ “The Potential-inspiring Pyramid” the blessing area
“The Potential-inspiring Pyramid” is made in the perfect ration of a Pyramid. The totems of the universe that Master Sun-Don Lee of the Forshang Buddhism drew in four different colors on the pyramid are able to instantly uplift the four positive energies: Wisdom, Fortune, Health and Love. The inspired inner potentials, when united with one’s own positive energy and good causation, will inconceivably realized the blessings within a month.

【The 2nd Floor – The Awesome Holy Relics】
All beings have the Buddha nature. Be it man or animal, all the cremated beings can remain the holy relics. All the holy relics displayed on the 2nd floor were obtained because the “Forshang Deliverance Rice” was spread before the cremation, indicating that the deceased beings have already been delivered to the Pureland. Therefore, not only does the appearance of the holy relics indicate one’s level of achievement in the cultivation process, in a positive sense, it also tells people alive to cherish the causation of understanding the ultimate truth.

【The 4th Floor – The Da Miao Lecture Hall】

Da Mia Lecture Hall is equipped with the global DSL system and 2 big TV screens mounted on ceiling for the Forshang Buddhism World Center, including the headquarters in Taipei, the central Taiwan preaching center, the Southern Taiwan preaching center, and all the branches overseas to attend the class at the same time. It is presently open to students of the Forshang Buddhism for meditation on weekends and may be used by short-termed secluded meditation groups in the future.
